My teachers recommended I start a blog because I need somewhere to express my opinions. Apparently school isn't the right place to refer to the prinicipal as a "fat lazy cow". I guess I can understand that. But, if the only thing she has to do with her day is to sit around and censor the school paper than she deserves the title (and oh so much more).
My teachers also think this will take away some of the stress from my life if I write about. I'm not convinced. I've tried to keep jounrals before but it doesn't "help". If anything, they seem to cause more drama than anything else. But I guess I'll give it a try. Since I can't write about anything negative in the school paper, I'll write about it here. So therefore this blog will probably include commentary on censorship, the problems my town has, international events (I love international news. My principal unfortunately does not. I can't write anything international in the school paper because she does not know how to pronounce anything that is above a fifth grade reading level), politics (I love politics too but for the above mentioned reason cannot write about them), and anything else that comes to mind.
I sincerely doubt this will decrease stress or keep from opening my mouth when I shouldn't (Sorry Ms. H, didn't know a comment like that could put you in danger of being fired) or anything else like that. If anything it will just get me into more trouble than I already am. But maybe, just maybe, if I have an outlet for the thoughts that I'm not allowed to have in school I will be able to bite my tounge and continue to write monotone articles about bakesales and fundraisers and ediorials on how wonderfuckingful our school is without saying anything I'm not supposed to. Don't count on it though because it probably isn't going to happen. Six months till graduation? Yeah, like that's going to happen.
